Ride In & Show Off

The 2025 Houlton Agricultural Fair Motorcycle Show, sponsored by Ride North Harley-Davidson, rolls into the 2025 Houlton Agricultural Fair on Saturday, July 12. This crowd, pleasing event will showcase an impressive lineup of motorcycles, from classic cruisers to custom builds, each with its own unique style and story. Registration opens at 11:00 AM, with judging beginning at 12:00 noon.

 

Set against the backdrop of a busy fair Saturday, the Bike Show offers the perfect chance for riders to show off their machines and for spectators to take in the craftsmanship, character, and roar of some incredible bikes. Thanks to the support of Ride North Harley-Davidson, this event adds horsepower, chrome, and community spirit to an already exciting day at the fair.

Classes

  • 1. Harley-Davidson Bagger - For Harley touring bikes with saddlebags and fairings, including Road Glide, Street Glide, and Electra Glide models.
  • 2. Non-HD Bagger - For touring bikes with saddlebags and fairings from manufacturers other than Harley-Davidson.
  • 3. Trike - Three-wheeled motorcycles including Harley Tri Glides, Freewheelers, and custom trikes.
  • 4. Bobber - Stripped-down style bikes emphasizing minimalism, often with shortened rear fenders and solo seats.
  • 5. Chopper - Highly customized bikes featuring extended front ends, custom frames, and unique styling.
  • 6. Street Bike - Sport-style motorcycles designed for speed and agility on paved roads.
  • 7. Metric - Motorcycles from non-American brands (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc.).
  • 8. Ladies - Open to bikes owned and ridden by women. All makes and models welcome.
  • 9. Antique - Motorcycles 35 years or older, maintained or restored to original condition.
  • 10. Can-Am - Three-wheeled Can-Am Spyders or Rykers.

CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOR

  • Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
  • Participants are expected to enter and exit the show area in a safe and professional manner. No revving, burnouts, or unsafe riding will be allowed on the Fairgrounds.
  • Any form of aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification and may be asked to leave the Fairgrounds.

EVENT REGULATIONS

  • Participants must follow all instructions provided by event organizers and officials.
  • Failure to comply with event regulations may result in penalties or disqualification.
  • Once participants enter the Fairgrounds with a motorcycle, that motorcycle must remain in the event area until the show is completed.
  • Stanchions or ropes may be used to protect motorcycles from spectator contact. Participants are responsible for providing their own if desired. These are not mandatory.
  • When leaving the event, motorcycles must be escorted out of the show area to ensure the safety of both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

LIABILITY AND WAIVER

  • Participants acknowledge and accept any risks associated with participating in events organized by Houlton Fair Association.
  • The Houlton Fair Association and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during events.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

  • By participating in our events, participants consent to the use of their likeness and motorcycle’s image for promotional purposes.
  • The Houlton Fair Association reserves the right to photograph or record events and participants for promotional use.

EVENT JUDGING

  • Judging will be conducted by the event participants themselves. Each registered participant will receive a judging ballot to vote for their favorite motorcycles in each category.
  • Participants may not vote in the class in which they are registered.
  • Participants are expected to judge fairly and in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
  • All ballots must be submitted by the deadline set by event staff.
  • All judging decisions are final and binding.

DISQUALIFICATION AND PENALTIES

  • Participants found in violation of event rules and regulations may be subject to disqualification or penalties.
  • Decisions regarding disqualification and penalties will be made by event officials and organizers.

UPDATES AND AMENDMENTS

  • The Houlton Fair Association reserves the right to update or amend event rules and regulations at any time.
  • Participants are responsible for staying informed about any changes to the rules and regulations. Updates will be posted at registration or announced by event staff.
