The 2025 Houlton Agricultural Fair is excited to welcome the return of the Houlton Agricultural Fair Car Show on Sunday, July 13. Held on the softball field at Community Park, this event will feature an eye-catching mix of classic cars, custom builds, and unique vehicles from local enthusiasts. Registration begins at 11:00 AM, with judging set to start at 12:00 noon.

 

Whether you’re showcasing a favorite ride or just coming to admire the lineup, the Car Show offers a great addition to the day’s fair activities. It’s a fun and relaxed way to enjoy automotive creativity, meet fellow car lovers, and take in a wide variety of styles and stories. With the fair in full swing all around, it’s the perfect stop for anyone looking to add a little horsepower to their Sunday.

Rules and Regulations

CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOR

  • Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
  • Participants are expected to enter and exit the showing area in a professional manner. No “hot rodding” or squealing of tires will be allowed on Fairgrounds.
  • Any form of aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification and may be asked to leave the Fairgrounds.

EVENT REGULATIONS

  • Participants must follow all instructions provided by event organizers and officials.
  • Failure to comply with event regulations may result in penalties or disqualification.
  • Once participants enter the Fairgrounds with a vehicle, that vehicle must stay in the event until the car show is completed.
  • Stanchions or ropes may be used to protect vehicles from spectator contact. Participants are responsible for providing their own if desired. These are not mandatory.
  • When leaving the event, a car must be escorted out of the show area to protect pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

LIABILITY AND WAIVER

  • Participants acknowledge and accept any risks associated with participating in events organized by Houlton Fair Association.
  • The Houlton Fair Association and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses incurred during events.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

  • By participating in our events, participants consent to the use of their likeness and vehicle’s image for promotional purposes.
  • The Houlton Fair Association reserves the right to photograph or record events and participants for promotional use.

EVENT JUDGING

  • All event judging will be conducted according to the rules and criteria specified for each competition (to be provided by event staff).
  • Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

DISQUALIFICATION AND PENALTIES

  • Participants found in violation of event rules and regulations may be subject to disqualification or penalties.
  • Decisions regarding disqualification and penalties will be made by event officials and organizers.

UPDATES AND AMENDMENTS

  • The Houlton Fair Association reserves the right to update or amend event rules and regulations at any time.
  • Participants are responsible for staying informed about any changes to the rules and regulations. Updates will be posted at registration or announced by event staff.
